SHINE

Our commitment to impact the next generation of world changers

PLANLED CAMPAIGN

SHINE

In 2016, Planled collaborated with Mariano Rivera and the New York Yankees to establish S.H.I.N.E. (Shine Hope In the North East), a community outreach project aimed at providing education and improved lighting for Bronx PS 68. Since then, SHINE has grown into an official outreach program, attracting the participation of numerous sports teams and athletes who joined our mission of enhancing human life while saving energy and reducing the carbon footprints.

01

Human Centric

We are the first company to bring Human Centric Lighting to sports, schools and corporate office and the co-founder of Human Centric Lighting Society (HCLS) which was founded in 2012.

02

Partnership

Since then, we have partnered with professional sports teams, star athletes and the Green Sports Alliance (GSA) to bring the most advanced lighting solutions to our schools and non-profit organizations.

03

Education

Our goal is to bring Human Centric Lighting to all schools to enhance our children’s academic achievements while providing opportunities for our children to learn cause-driven leadership.

04

Training

We also strive to empower local lighting professionals by offering education and training in Human Centric Lighting, which in turn will create thousands of local jobs over next 20 years.

"The Green Sports Alliance is thrilled to be working with Planled and our alliance members to promote groundbreaking lighting solutions that greatly improve the quality of light while also creating huge life cycle savings. On top of this, they are leveraging their partnerships to make local investments to bring these benefits to schools and other facilities where lower operating costs and enhanced lighting are making a meaningful difference in the community."

Our latest advancement comes in the form of a task light. Our partners in the tech industry asked for help in meeting the color temperature preferences of their diverse workforce. epikÏŒs covers the spectrum of color temperature and light level that the modern workers demand.

"We had the opportunity to receive feedback and witness the students in the classroom, and the teachers, and the environment where they have the lighting that was retrofitted by Planled, and it was incredible,” Smith said. “Kids were saying they would be tired at certain points during the day, but now as a result of the light being adjusted at different points, they felt they were ready to go and to take care of business.”
